I Love To Read Show!

Character Education: Reading!

For Audiences – Pre-K to 8th Grade

This show will get your students excited about reading. It’s a perfect kick-off to PARP and other reading programs at your school. Kevin will first discuss why reading is important for everyone in life. He also discusses how reading can be fun, not just educational and that you can learn to read better while reading about things you enjoy! He bring examples of his favorite books, from the first books ever read, to current books he now enjoys. The students will get a renewed excitement for reading and leave with a few gems that teachers can use in the classroom right away. Kevin excites audiences with fun, familiar, and upbeat songs and actively engages the students for an enjoyable and memorable learning experiences.

This is a video that Bush Elementary in Jamestown put together from the reading show. It was rather bright which limited the lights and video screen, but the students & staff still had a great time. They went all out with pom-poms…the biggest thing they wanted was to have the students get excited about reading!  It was a lot of fun. Thanks to Barry Meyer – Let’s Go Video  (716) 499-4330 for doing this video for the school and allowing me to post, I appreciate it!  :o)

“What a performance you put on last week! The students and staff are still talking about it a week later. The positive message, active participation, and kid-friendly, age-appropriate songs choice all contributed to one of the best assemblies we’ve had at Fredonia, Well done!”  Amy Piper, Principal, Fredonia Elementary School
